TERMS AND CONDITIONS
REHAU EDGE membership and its benefits are offered at the discretion of REHAU. REHAU has the right to change, limit, modify or cancel the Program Rules, regulations, benefits, and member levels at any time, with or without notice, even though such changes may affect the purchase amounts already accumulated, the ability to redeem certain benefits, or the ability to obtain certain benefits. REHAU may, among other things: (a) increase or decrease the amount of purchases required for benefits; (b) withdraw, limit, modify, or cancel any benefit; (c) restrict the continued availability of benefits; (d) change program benefits, conditions of participation, rules for earning, redeeming, retaining, or forfeiting benefits, or rules governing the use of benefits.
Participation in REHAU EDGE is subject to the terms and conditions, rules, regulations, policies and procedures ("Program Rules") that REHAU may, in its discretion, adopt from time to time. REHAU may amend the Program Rules at any time without notice. REHAU has the sole discretion to interpret and apply the Program Rules.
The accumulation of benefits is subject to the REHAU EDGE Program Rules. Each member is responsible for reading the Program Rules and Terms and Conditions, newsletters, and account statements in order to understand his or her rights, responsibilities and status in the program.
The benefit structure is subject to modification, cancellation or limitation at REHAU's discretion, with or without notice. The amount of purchases required to redeem any benefit may be substantially increased, any benefit may be withdrawn, and restrictions on any benefit or its redemption may be imposed at any time.
Additionally, REHAU has the right to end REHAU EDGE by providing written notice to its members one month in advance of program termination. In that event, the right to increase status and redeem benefits may end one month after notification, regardless of the extent of member participation in the program.
Only heating and plumbing contractor companies are eligible for REHAU EDGE membership, and each company may maintain only one account. Individuals who own or work for the company may be issued additional membership cards, however there is only one account per company.
After applying to REHAU EDGE, a membership number will be assigned to each applicant company. Upon receiving this number, the company becomes eligible to earn benefits.
A member may purchase benefits and/or partial benefits available on the REHAU EDGE website.
Membership in REHAU EDGE, including any benefits that may have been issued to a member, may be revoked or suspended at REHAU's sole discretion if a member falls into bad standing with their wholesaler.
Benefits are accrued based on purchases of REHAU heating and plumbing products, excluding any tax or freight paid on purchases.
If purchases submitted to REHAU are returned to the place of purchase for any reason, the return value will be deducted from the REHAU purchase amount.
Accrued benefits do not constitute property of the member. Benefits accrued by a REHAU EDGE member are for the member's benefit only and may not be transferred to another member.
REHAU EDGE benefits earned through participation in REHAU EDGE may be subject to tax liability. Any tax liability, including disclosure, connected with the receipt or use of REHAU EDGE benefits is the responsibility of the member.
In the case of fraud or abuse involving REHAU EDGE, member level status or benefit redemption, REHAU has the right to take appropriate administrative and/or legal action. All benefits earned through REHAU EDGE may be forfeited and the account closed.
You may be provided with the ability to use usernames, passwords, or other codes or devices to gain access to restricted portions of the REHAU EDGE website ("access codes"). The content contained in such restricted areas is confidential to REHAU, and is provided to you for your personal use only. We reserve the right to prohibit the use of such access codes on your behalf by third parties where we determine that such use interferes with our site's operation or results in commercial benefits for other entities to our detriment.
Respecting your privacy is a priority for us. However, in order to keep you apprised of your REHAU EDGE membership status, it is important that we send you certain program information that may include printed periodic statements of your account and other information necessary for administration; printed or email marketing materials from REHAU which will inform you of special offers and products we believe could be of interest to you. The information you provide to us when enrolling in REHAU EDGE and redeeming benefits is processed in our computer systems both in the country where this information has been collected and in our primary computer system in the United States. As a participant in REHAU EDGE, you have consented to receive all of the kinds of information described above. However, you will be given the opportunity to opt-out of e-mailings from REHAU.
The awarding of REHAU EDGE benefits is void where prohibited by law.
Employees of REHAU and their subsidiaries are ineligible to participate in REHAU EDGE.
Program Rules
- The program term begins on January 1, 2010 and ends on December 31, 2010. All benefits accrued during this time period must be redeemed by December 31, 2010. Any benefit not redeemed by December 31, 2010 is forfeited.
- All VIP events will take place in the year following the program term (2011).
- The top 50 sales performers from 2010 in the Gold Level will be eligible for participation in the Gold Level VIP event.
- The top 30 sales performers from 2010 in the Platinum Level will be eligible for participation in the Platinum Level VIP event.
- Any participant not able to attend a VIP event forfeits the benefit.
- The contractor must submit valid invoices from an authorized REHAU distributor in order to get credit for purchases and accrue benefits.
- Company must be an officially qualified heating, plumbing, fire protection and/or geothermal contractor located in the US, Canada or Mexico to be eligible for membership in REHAU EDGE.
